Yeah, would kill for that little bike. So cool.

Somebody got the left/right tank badges reversed, however - the wings are flying backward. For some reason, that really bugs me when I see that. I need to lighten up - it's 10 AM here, time for a beer.

That's the R model, it will go for megga money, I hope there is not an unreasonable reserve.

Maybe the previous owner didn't want to go too fast for his class and reversed his wings... wind resistance.

Aerodynamically speaking there is good reason for forward swept wings so maybe he has a secret...

That's pretty crazy how the price is creeping up. But then again... they are rare these days. Hardest parts to get for the CB92? The windscreen and the handpump.

Keep in mind Ryan this is a CB92R, a factory "R " model. So I think the price will carry on a bit over a regular CB92 (please I'd happy with just that)...

Just how fast is a CB92R? My CA95 is flat out screaming (at least it seems that way) at 48 mph.

These little bikes exceeded 90 MPH, if I recall what I've read in the past. Sam can elaborate, of course.

The Honda workshop manual states that a CA95 should run around 77mph and the CB92 around 82mph.
At a guess, the CA95 motor in a CB92 chassis should run about 87mph.
In the late 60s my C95 ran 87.3mph average speed over a measured flying kilometer.
I might not have had quite the power of the CA95 but my bike was quite a bit lighter than a CB92.
It will be interesting to see what happens when new member Jeff (Hondaman) from Belgium builds his CB92/95 hybrid.
Jeff has just taken delivery of the conversion kit I sent him and is having the machine work done as we speak, this should tell you all you need to know.

Considering the sellers eBay name I wonder if he came across it on a painting job and paid the owner a token amount to take it off his hands. I have a friend who is a hearing aid salesman. He is in many senior citizens homes and tells me he has many opportunities to "help" folks downsize. Maybe I'm just envious.
