Numbers on back of cylinders?

There's a couple of numbers of the back of the cylinders of my 1966 C95, anyone know what they mean/ just curious. Thanks, Cliff. Not sure if the picture will show but it's a cast in number 4 then x9 stamped in.

I've just checked a few blocks, some have numbers, others don't, in other words, I've still no idea.
