Points Base Plate Screw - M5 or wot?

Finally some time to put into the reto. Engine reassembled after ring replacement & value clean up.
Decided to replace the points base plate screws as the heads were badly deformed. Assembly diagram indicates the 2 are M5x12. Grabbed replacements (M5 0.8 x12) & threads don't match.Tried threading a ...

Thanks - missed that they listed two kits.
Have looked at the images & tried to compare some dimensions (O-rings for example - after calibrating on the needle jet clip) seems to be a closer match.
Have e-mailed Terry & Carole at Oly to see if they can confirm the KH-0035 and PW20HOV compatibility.

Carb Kit for PW20HOV

Anyone know where to source a kit for the KeiHin PW20HOV carb?
Tried the Keyster kit KH-0042 - although marked as for the CA95, it definitely is not (wrong sized jets & gaskets).
Thanks

Open Threaded Holes

Griff wrote:Yup the CA95 has a special carb with the power circuit. It's not the in the bowl, it's up at the top of the carb.

Its the two open threaded holes at the top in this pic.

Griff,
Are both these left open - nothing screwed into the orifices???

PW20HOV - Float/Gasket Interference

The prior owner said he could never get reliable & controlled revs.
Had a VERY close look at the carb interior and wanted to share the findings which probably explain the prior performance.
Have a look at the gasket float clearance on the LHS vs the RHS (see white arrows):

PW20HOV Carb Assembly

Hi again,
Really appreciate all the posts on the forum - VERY informative & helpful.
Am at carb stage on my 1966 CA95 project. Have poured over the series on Carb Cleaning posted by Smithers (from 2004!!! no less!!)
My confusion is whether there's a jet (or part or widget) that fits in the ...

Many thanks Spokes.
Didn't realize the magnets were pulling the rotor off center. Tried the plastic shims & it just smoothly pressed into place.
Greatly appreciate the tip.

Refitting Rotor - Need Help

Hi All,
Have been slowly bringing a 1966 CA95 back to life - learning a lot along the way with lots coming from this forum.
Pulled the rotor (benefiting from the tip of using the rear axle bolt as a pulller - thanks to Sam Green).

Now need help in getting the rotor refitted. Seems no matter what ...

Knock Bolt

Does anyone have either a spare or access to a supply of Knock Bolts (P/N: 13011-030-000)? Doing some cam chain work the head of one came away - have been able to EZ-out the remaining thread but need a replacement.
Tks

Thanks for the quick response.
Have taken off the grip and the control bracket so with try Blaster from both ends & see if a few taps get things loose.

Jammed Throttle Grip

Hi - Am new to this forum (previous work on a CT90/1974 & CB750/1978) have just picked up a CA95/1966 with 22.5K miles on it which has been sitting for a couple of years.
Battery shot (trying usual sulfation removal), carb gunked up (responded well to cleaning with Yamaha carb cleaner)

Now find ...
