I've never even thought of using diesel power in a motorcycle. I came across this link which shows lots of privately made diesel powered motorcycles: http://www.dieselbike.net/privateproduction.htm

I wonder if there are any videos of them on http://www.youtube.com.

Apparently there is a Royal Enfield (India Enfield) bike that is diesel powered? Someone mentioned in a comment on one of these videos that they are conversions with a Yanmar clone diesel engine. Whatever... they go forEVER on a tank of fuel. Think about taking a long trip and hardly spending a dime on fuel. That's pretty cool!

A very nice looking diesel engine... I don't know who makes the engine though:

A Classic looking bike with a very modern Yanmar engine / diesel conversion: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7icTIdDU ... re=related

And now a ride on a diesel bike. I wouldn't mind saddling up on one of these for a couple days ride not having to stop for gas more than once :D OK maybe not. That sucker might be vibrating like you are sitting on a generator engine : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bXcgWQc ... re=related
