First I give the engine of my truck about 1.5 minutes to warm up. Then I floor it out into the main road in order to not get run over by crazy speeding soccer-moms taking their kids to school in expensive SUV's. This essential acceration usually results in a nice uniform slide that is so smooth it doesn't even spill my coffee.
