As if I don't have enough to monkey around with , we bought a 2 owner , 39,000 mile ,all original 1979 Corvette . Just had a bug up my b--- to do something with 4 wheels and an orphan Corvette would be just the thing . 1984 to 86's are the real orphan Corvettes .
We looked at half a dozen 78/79's and finally settled on this one . Kinda ughly ,
it's all dark green inside and out but it is all original save for the dual exhaust and new aluminum radiator . Guess it's fitting for St. Patricks day !
Lot's of little things to sort out but it's a driver and what the heck , why not . Talk about a time warp machine though , this car came from the St. Louis factory with a AM/FM/ 8 TRACK tape player ! The glove box even has slots in it to hold the tapes .

Good honest fun and cheap (for vettes'). Could use more grunt tho...

That's one smooth looking little hot rod. Looks like some fun >:-] Everyone needs some fast wheels to play with at some point.

I would like to see the 8 track player and a picture of the engine! Those are some slippery looking tires. I would burn them off and put on something better.
