They look like my Shinko Goldenboy's if they are the same you'll find that its a very nice grippy tire and wears slowly too, I still have the little rubber tits on mine.
I didn't realize your question about cables and carburetor kit went unanswered; if you haven't found out; the cable will be fine. The carb kit is where it gets tricky, if you have a round float bowl then no to the gasket; but those can be found at any good hardware store; the keyster kits come with a the square type with that one side edge that juts out; and you'll still probably have to very carefully trim it a little, some of the bowls bowed out on the sides. I have c95 stamped on the side of mine; so who knows if it shipped like that. The jets included will be stock size, I went with a thinner titanium needle on mine, I didn't like how thick and heavy the kit one was, and modded the jets and air filter. I would say if you are considering any jet changes, then just get a gasket if the rest is in usable shape, otherwise everything else in the kit is worthless performance wise. But if you want a technically correct restoration then the kit fits the bill. The CA160 came with larger jets than the CA95 so bear that in mind when choosing; if it's too late and you already ordered, then the kit will still work though. |

Great thank you for answering the questions! Greatly appreciated!
the tires are http://www.americanmototire.com/cata...oducts_id=2190 they seem to be pretty good from what I have found in terms of reviews etc... I have been looking around all over the place/internet and these are by far the best option for me price/quality wise ... can't wait to mount them on the wheels and get this thing road ready and safe! Also if you have a link or source for the performance carb parts kits that would be great! Again thanks for the info/advise! Greatly appreciated. |

If you know the measurement of the intake bore and center the center of the studs in MM; I'll be happy to help you find one.

My rims were in a lot worse shape inside; I painted inside with a rust inhibitor after wire brushing the hell out of them. Then put in some rubber rim strips, I made out of cheap inner tubes from the store, you just cut the top part of the inner tube all the way around off then snip out the valve stem and stretch it onto the rim with the hole lining up for your inner tube stem. It is much wider than the stock strips you can buy and about the same price per tire.
I honestly think your rims look fine, just inhibit the spots, polish the outer rim spots with some diet cola and tin foil or steel wool and slap some strips in there. |

My pattern is almost the same; these are what I am running and from where I got them from they were 10 bucks less per tire 2 years ago: Shinko SR208 http://www.smalltires.com/products/s...6-f1917c538f8d

Exactly what I did I used the old rubber tubes as liner. I am also using rust inhibitor and they are cleaning up pretty well.
