Thanks for the info Spokes, I was afraid I might have to resort to the aftermarket mufflers. Since my initial post, I actually came across a right-side muffler in good shape but the left I have is just too far gone. Considering your status as the CA guru, I was wondering if you had any thoughts on welding the brackets from 160 mufflers onto some 95 mufflers. They seem to be more common than the 160 mufflers, so I may buy a pair to compare and possibly modify. As far as I can deduce the mufflers are identical in every way except the mounting bracket.
