That would be amazing if you know of one! I can't find anything at all.

Unfortunately there are only two sellers of aftermarket exhausts on ebay and both have to be modified to fit. By modified they mean have brackets welded on and the mount for the heat guard welded on also.

So I brought my exhaust pipe to a local welder. To my disappointment he said it was completely rotten and could not be fixed. Even worse is that it was so bad that when I took out all the bolt's holding it to the frame, it snapped in 2 under its own weight. Seeing as there are no mufflers to buy ...

Nope, I didn't buy it. It seems to be missing the brackets to bolt it to the frame. There's nothing else though

Ok and after further inspection of the pictures and looking at the exhaust I have now, it seems that the one on ebay lacks the brackets to bolt it to the frame.

I was wondering if this exhaust pipe looked like it might be worth it. My pipes completely rusted from the inside so I need a new one.

Don't know if different years had different pipes but it's for a 1971. Preferably a new piece or hardly used. Must not have any rust spots. If you have one on an old bike that looks great show me some pictures because that could work too. Also I don't need the guard, just the pipe. Thanks!

Hey isn't this the CL72, not the CB72? I thought the CL models had raised exhausts and whatnot for "offroad riding."
