Hello-

I'm a new member here. I own a 1963 ca95 which I restored from a barn in Maine. It took me 4 years to get it road worthy.

I redid the top end, new pistons, rings valves and gaskets. Rebuilt the carb and starter. It sat in storage after it's maiden voyage shakedown ride of about 5 miles.

After 2 years- Gassed it up, put a charge on the battery and started on the first kick.

I think the points are a bit corroded or maybe they were never adjusted correctly to begin with.

I have misplaced the manual and all my papers for the bike!

I need help with the procedure for adjusting the point gap, and then adjusting the points timing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Search the web. I found the Honda manual for your bike in a pdf format.

Thanks for the suggestion. I was unable to find the info, so that's why I posted here.

I found the gap .014, and timed it to light up the voltmeter at the F mark on the flywheel.

It was right on.

Next step is to check the needle height. Might be blubbering at mid throttle because of incorrect jetting.

Low speed and idle are spot on- main jet is a 95, clean as a whistle.

A pdf of the service manual is here: http://www.dotheton.com/gregeastwood/Honda1959-1966.pdf
Some of the pages are out of order but it's still a good copy.
