The bike I restored was a 1965. In a barn, 29yrs same condition except, for the most part all together. The actual cost of a full restoration, as I did was in the $2800.00 range. That is why these bikes are parted out. You restore them out of love for the bike.

The estimated value really, $250.00-$450.00 someone will part it out.

Myself, I would be interested, but later in the spring. It's the kind of bike I would restore.

Oh, the year. The easiest way to tell the year is on the engine. CA95E -0xxx is 1960 CA95E-1xxxx (61) -2xxx(62) -3xxxx (63)

Whew, that would be one hell of a restore project! I'd part it on ebay personally.

Problem is i need the money and the space all at once so i can't really part it out.

I am buying a 1973 SAAB 96v4

It pains me i can't pick it up. As usual, timing is everything.

I buy all of my stuff on ebay, and for the most part it has been 99% ok. I have been burnt, but then again, whats new...?

Put it up on ebay, start at $299.00 with a pick up only, or offer 1/2 way meeting for some fee, if you can. The challange is shipping. I had Fedex pick up an engine in PA and I live in southwestern Kentucky. It ran me about $85.00 to get it back. but I had to send a heavy duty crated box at $39.00 so the whole package was $124.00 shipping(but got a good motor for $25.00)

But if 100% parting out is not possible the hot items off that bike are:

Fuel Tank - Clean $75.00-$125.00
Fuel valve off of the tank-Clean $65.00 and up
Carb-Just clean- $35-$80.00
Carb Covers -$20.00-$45.00
Side Panels -$15.00 to $25.00 ea
Working Headlight- $20.00 - $95.00
Speedometer- Clean-$45.00
Seat- Clean- $25.00 (wiped out=$0)
Engine-$25.00-$50.00
Front Fender- $25.00 and up

Sorry I can't get it, it's one that I would restore for sure.

You should post your description for your sale here in this thread. You will get a lot more hits from the google and more exposure posting it here. I know you want someone to come pick it up but every bit helps.
