thought I'd post a pic or two here of my 1975 CB500 T . Bought it last year , it was in very nice original condition but did need a lot of polish work as well as repainting of the tank and side covers a Kawasaki Z1 900 green metallic color .
These bikes were made 2 years and the first year ,1975 they were a brown metallic with a brown seat . Just wasn't a happening color .
I did make some other cosmetic changes , shortened the turn signal stalks and used early Honda ( smaller ) turn signals as well as a smaller Honda taillight assembly . Changed the mufflers to the Dunstall type and added lower superbike handlebars . This is kind of what would have been done back in the day .
Also added All Balls bearings to the steering head and bronze bushings to the swing arm and a new chain and primary gear . Mukuni VM32's and a Pamco Pete electronic ignition help in the go dept .
