We bent up the flimsy bars and levers that come from the Honda Factory and recently installed some Renthal bars, ProTaper Grips and Acerbis plastic and alloy handguards to strengthen things up. The riding position is much more appropriate now and it feels like a much stronger handlebar setup. Now we just need a new set of springs front and back and this little bike should be quite the trail racer.

I just thought I would throw a couple pictures up as I'm sure a lot of people would like to go this route. I did a little homework on bars and guards online. Then I went to my local bike shop and they showed me which bars to buy and everything so it was really easy.

Just cot off the end of the throttle tube and sized up the Acerbis anchor that you push into the end of each side of the bars.

This is what I feel like on this CRF150. Motorcycle USA latched onto a CRF150R that they have modded up properly and it looks like a ripper. I might add things slowly to this CRF as time goes by. If this 150 had some good suspension you could roll it down the trails twice as fast as they come from Honda.
