So, I was looking at this honda motorcycle that was in a shed on some family property. After doing some research I am pretty sure it is at ca95 just based on looks alone. The property is in a different state and I did not write down any serial number, but the tank emblem had honda and 150 on it. Would this be enough to distinguish it as a ca95? or do I need to drive the seven hours to find out? Any help would be appreciated.

If it says 'Honda 150' and you're in the USA, that would likely be a CA95. The CA92 was a 125, and the CA160 was a 160. Sounds like the bike has the original tank badges, since the Honda replacements simply had 'Honda' on them.

Get some pics and post them. The frame serial number can be a bear to find, especially if there's any corrosion, but the engine serial is quite easy, so if somebody there can provide the engine serial number to you, we can tell you more.

Gotta check the frame numbers and engine numbers to make sure. If you did remember seeing 150 on it... then yes, it SHOULD be a CA95. :) You sure it didn't say Honda 160? :D

It probably will be unless it has been brought in from outside of the States, that would then make it a C95.

Yea, It definately said honda 150 on it, and I am sure it was bought in the states, my great-grandfather bought the bike new in 1966 or 1965. My mom has a picture of her riding with him when she nine, I'll try and post the picture if i can find it.
