NO not mine but at least a local friend of mine so I'll be able to see the bike every now and then! The best production motorcycle ever made. Full race everything and twice as much $ as the regular 1098. 2 nice!

The bike feels light as a feather just sitting on it! It's pretty much a work of art from all angles. He has his work cut out for him in terms of learning the computer controls. He's very lucky to have some help from Team Doug Polen (http://www.gopolen.com/). Hopefully he'll take it out on the road with me a few times. But I have a feeling it's going to be a track bike 95% of the time...

Here is one of my favorite pics I got this morning. Look how skinny the subframe is. It's not made of steel either... something else he told me but I forgot. She sure is wide in the hips. I thought my Mille looked good without the rear tire hugger on but you don't see many bikes running without them. But look at this! So what the hell, I'm leaving mine off for a while to see how I like it. Yeah I wouldn't be riding this beauty on the street.

Here are a couple other interesting views. It's much wider in the rear fairing in person. Gotta be careful swinging a leg over her. As you can see she has a trickle charger battery cable installed already. They said you don't want to know how much work it takes to get to the battery.

There is another 1098 cruising around this area that rides with us but he didn't show this morning. It would be cool to see them side by side. I've seen him "misbehaving" on the fwy recently but he must be out of town this wknd.

There are a few local guys cruising the 1098 bikes around. Would be nice to get a shot of them together... a 1098, a 1098S and the 1098R actually. Now if the local HP2 would join that picture it would really be something to see.
