Just looked at mine out of the bike while waiting for parts. The thicker washer goes on the plate first, then the advance mechanism, then the thin washer, then the circlip.

Thank you for the input, also will like to know if any grease goes inside the lobe that opens the points that moves on the center pin it has like a cavity that looks like for grease, but not sure, don't know if the oil or grease can get to the points if I do
Thanks again ..Larry |

One drop of 3 in 1 oil is all you need. Be aware that the lobe can be installed 180 degrees off and still fit. You will know if the lobe is installed correctly when you first start the engine. If the engine starts, the lobe is in the correct position. If the engine shotgun backfires, remove the lobe and reinstall 180 degrees forward. You will also find a small cotton swab pinched on the point plate. Put a drop or two of 3 in 1 oil in it to lightly lubricate the outside of the lobe.
