The time has come for me to pay more attention to the suspension settings of my bike. I've adjusted the front "ok" and the back really works good enough to the point that I just leave it alone. I adjusted my fork clamps down on the tubes and it made the biggest difference so far. I can't believe how fast my front end falls into turns now. I've been told to be careful since everything will happen much faster and that the front end will also give me less warning when things are being pushed to the limit. I'll work it out.

I was told that the suspension I put on my bike was worked over and the oil was changed. I'll probably just check the oil level and roll with it. I did have to tighten up the front preload and I'll be increasing the dampening for my next ride. Overall it's just a little soft. It's comfortable but I'm using the full stroke of the travel a little too often.

SportRider.com also had a section for APrilias in their recommended suspension settings section. This surprised me but it makes sense as I read through it. I thought it was interesting enough to post so here is the link: Aprilia RSVR Suspension Settings by SportRider.com.

I'll be consulting Kyle Racing on the subject of tuning my Aprilia when I get really serious. I need to do this sooner than later so hopefully in the next month. He is one of the most knowledgeable Ohlins suspension tuners in the west and he definitely has the largest inventory of Ohlins suspension components.

Speaking about Kyle Racing here are a couple shots of some of the Ohlins shocks and forks that they have floating around the shop on a daily basis. This is just some of the components that they were using and testing that week. They have much much more in their inventory. Boy it's pretty stuff!

If you are lucky enough to be located anywhere near Kyle Racing you should surely contact them if you are looking for upgrades. Their experience is surprising.
