Default Custom Fabed Deep Seated Buco L.E.D. Lights

I finally figured out how to recess the bulb socket into a chrome body. This allows a L.E.D. light to be installed in Buco Twinmaster Saddlebags.

Thanks, yes, you can jumper your brake light or running lights to the bag lights. Remember that you have to ground the lights in the bags. This is normally done by running a ground wire from the light to the bottom plate that reinforces the bottom clamp.

I don't have a parts list per se, because I use die's for the bulb socket hole in the body and a press to countersink the socket. I also use fixtures for making the bracket that holds the light in the bag as well as a drill press.

So these lights are pretty custom. I only build a few sets per year when I can find chrome light bodies.

No. I am sourcing light bodies as we speak. I may have found good metal bodies in black, so they would need to be chromed. The chrome bodies are found now and again. Sorry.

The next set of 4 lights will be done this week.

Hey Chipster how have you been?

I bought some chrome visors for my buco's but they wouldn't stay in, I even filed the tabs off the lenses but to no avail? What's the trick to getting them on?

Tks,Lou

Hey Lou
Living in Georgia...super nice.

I place the lense in 1st. Then put the visor in and retain the lense & visor with the clip.
