exhaut gaskets
If your tired of the goofy wire wound sealing gaskets for the exhaust port try a Harley Sportster part ! Sportsters from 2004 and up have a crossover or connecting pipe between the mufflers that use a grafoil type gasket that works very well as a replacement for the gasket on the CA95's exhaust port .
Harley part # 65927-00 / $ 3.62 for 2 . |

I used the copper bmw gaskets and cut them down to fit. Good to know another option. Thanks for sharing!

Awesome. Old exhuast joint gaskets and manifold gaskets are the lowest technology on any motorcycle up until the 90's. Very frustrating.

I used copper Ducati gaskets, which were a perfect fit. The details are in this thread, along with pictures:

I ordered two from bevel heaven. He still only had only one in stock (as kev had mentioned) and terminated my order. I found a close one on a bulk retailer website but it was 1 mm too small and 1mm too thick. I forwarded that info to bevel heaven as he was interested in a supplier. I ended up using the k100 BMW copper cut down two or three mm into a spring that held itself in well while I mounted the pipes, just like kart green on that thread. Works great so far. Plus I got 4 for $8 on eBay used. I just annealed them before installing.
