I just got suggestion from a new contact regarding what thier shop does with vintage tires. Remove the tire,soak real good with Armorall or similar and seal into a plastic garbage bag. Essentially sunlight and I think ozone are the biggest degrading factor for old rubber. Both my Super Hawk and my Ca160 have original tires and my my 66 Black Bomber (more later)has one old Pirelli on it.
