I use a nice period-looking battery that's found on ebay usually. No complaints! Just be sure to keep it charged if the bike's stored during the cold months. That did one of mine in.

The only thing I'd be worried about is overworking the already weak CA95 stator.

What does the chain guard mount to?

I have both the top and bottom halves but I can't seem to figure out what they mount to!

The 250cc motor doesn't bolt up, does it?

I was looking at pics of the CA 250 (whatever model it is) and it looks like a small frame just like the CA95. Does the motor bolt up by chance? Might be a way to get more life out of mine!
