If your tired of the goofy wire wound sealing gaskets for the exhaust port try a Harley Sportster part ! Sportsters from 2004 and up have a crossover or connecting pipe between the mufflers that use a grafoil type gasket that works very well as a replacement for the gasket on the CA95's exhaust port ...

It's going to be one sweet ride once your finished ! Take it to some car/bike shows or cruise-ins and you'll be amazed at the attention the bike will get . Even the grizzled old veteran Harley riders will stop and tell you about their first bike . Most likely a Honda !

Lars , thanks ,I'll checkout your site . I hangout , do a little work at Spikes Vintage Motorsports . They do a lot of vintage bike restorations as well as getting and keeping the old dogs running . They have an amazing mechanic with 30/35 years of motorcycle experience .

Looks like your taking the time to do it the right way . There's a great satisfaction knowing you've resurrected at 45 year old bike that many people have never seen before .
Don't be afraid to do your own paint work , take your time let everything dry and start wet sanding and then polish and wax ...

I agree with Chip , You don't currently have enough lever travel to engage the brakes fully . . Also , see if you have an old time brake shop in your area . If they can turn drum brakes they should also be able to grind your brake shoes to give you a more fuller contact area . Right now your using ...

Haven't been on the forum a lot lately but that hasn't stopped the projects .
Here are a couple of pic's of 2 Honda CbB 750 Autos that I'm working on . The orange bike is a 1978 Cb750 A and the green bike is a 1977 CB750 A .

If you mirror mounting holes are 10 mm and you have 8mm stems just install 8mm thread inserts in the 10mm threads . they screw right in.

Looks like your making great progress wiht your bike . For some odd reason upper chain guards are easy to find and lower guards are like hen's teeth . Your lower guard can be repaied though . Cutout the rusted metal and weld in new metal .

Try reclocking the arm on the splined shaft to get the brake shoes closer to the brake drum .
