View Full Version : Is this the correct carb for a CA95?

Just curious. This looks a bit different then others I've seen on here. No clear model numbers, 1964 CA95.

The 64 should be the same as a 65. here are some pics of the carb that came from my 65 CA95 Serial# 5000xxx

Ignore the set screws. I made an aggressive solution of nitric acid to brighten the aluminum and it ate the threads. Don't do that.....

Thanks, at least I know I'm starting in the right direction after the motor rebuild! I guess I'll bolt it up and see what happens.

Griff,here's an easy way to check, this type of carb was made for 2 models. The last variations of the 2 models had the same carb.
In your first picture and Spokes last one, you will see a small circle on the right hand edge of the flange where the carb bolts to the insulator.
It should have #20 (20mm) stamped into the circle denoting that the bore size is 20mm.
If it has #18, it's for an early 125cc Benly.
