Are you going to take that Yamaha XS400 home as well (that he has for sale)? haha! Good little box of parts for cheap. I would like to take a speedo apart and reproduce a new face for the indicators. It can be made brand new again with some patience. But then again just put it together and ride it! Not many people care much about those details. And of course that chain can be made brand new again with about 15 minutes of cleaning and adjustment.

Sadly i won't be taking his other bike :( oh well i have enough to do :D

The chain like you said is a 10 minute clean up.
the kick-starter looks great
the speedo - eh, it could use a cleaning but it looks better than the rust bucket i have.

Speaking of how do you get the speedo out? you have to remove the headlight right?

AWWWWWWWWWWww

I can't believe I missed that kick start lever.

Do you have one that's crusty that you're replacing? Mine is missing entirely :(

Speedo comes out super easy. Remove the headlight and you will see.

Kickstarter levers pop up every now and then. They sell for really cheap compared to one I've been looking for - Honda CB72. Those kickstart levers go for $150. Not cool.

Sorry aaron, mine was missing too. there are quite a few around - just be patient and spend an hour each night trolling though ebay.

That's how i though the speedo came out, but i wasn't sure.

$150 - ouch
