So I've been looking more and more into Carbon Fiber products of all types. I'm just as interested in the form and function of it as I am in the aesthetics of the woven fibers. The lightweight characteristics are just amazing and it's very durable as we all know. I also had a chance to go visit a organization that actually manufactures it for "other" purposes and I have learned much more about the process and product.

I would just like to share some pretty amazing instances in which carbon fiber has been used and I'll kick it off by pointing you over to my posts about carbon fiber that I already have made up until this point. Just in case you have come to this this thread by some other mean and haven't seen my thread about the carbon fiber I have on my Aprilia feel free to check out this section I have posted, Aprilia carbon fiber. And here is today's shocking display of carbon fiber. Seeing this Ducati being built for a purpose built drag racer blows my mind right off but check out all the carbon fiber that is being used all over that 999R twin-turbo (http://www.ducatibunbury.com.au/999rTurbo.tpl). Have a quick read about the 999R madness and look at the carbon fiber that is draped all over that machine. Amazing. http://www.ducatibunbury.com (http://www.ducatibunbury.com.au/999rTurbo.tpl)
