Here's my latest find . Finally got the ambition to sell my 2009 HD Road King Classic ,so this is it's replacement . Love this bike ! , handling and the speed the HD didn't have and it looks pretty good for a standard UJM .
Made a couple of minor changes to help out with the ergo's but overall it fits me very well . Gonna leave it pretty much stock other than a Dale Walker
( Holeshot ) muffler and tuning module .
Now I have to go take some pictures of my 1986 BMW K100 that I'm going to make over into a street fighter stlye bike . I'm collecting parts now and hopefully it will make a great winter project . Although I could redo about a dozen old Hondas for the cost of the BMW parts . This might not be my brighest idea as if any of them are .

What a cool bike! That Bandit was always praised as a very very good all around bike. I'm considering buying a bike for similar duty myself. Great bulletproof bike. Too bad they didn't put shaft drive on that sucker!

I'm familiar with the BMW K100 (https://www.google.com/search?q=1986+BMW+K100&hl=en&prmd=imvns&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=clsqUMCLDq7viQKb3oGgCg&ved=0CEgQsAQ&biw=1126&bih=786) / leg warmer. I went to a few BMW rallies with my dad when I was a kid :D They look cool stripped down without the funky bodywork on them. Just strip is down. Maybe you'll find some inspiration just looking at random pictures of BMW's online? Great bikes that can eat up miles of road no doubt.

Thanks , I've had 6 -1000 to 1150 Suzuki's over the years and they were great ,fun bikes . THEN , I sold my 1984 GS1150 ES, I actually owned it twice ) and went a year or so without a bike . So my answer to being bikeless was to buy a new 2004 Sportster and proceed to spend a bunch of money to make it go fast and handle . When I bought my new 2009 Road King Classic my son got the Sportster , he still has it , and I continued my slide into darkness . Took me about 6 months to decide I really didn't like the RKC . Took me 3 years before I finally said this things got to go . Put the RKC on Craig's List and about 3 weeks later someone came buy and said it's their dream bike . Slightly haggled about the price and now someone else has the dream !
I was looking for a BMW R1150 R when I ran across the Suzuki and after looking it over , slightly haggled about the price and took it home . The previous owner bought the bike new , rode it for several years and health problems kept him off it the last two years .
It really is a very nice ,well cared for bike and about half the price of a late model BMW R1150 R .
