I had the pleasure of being introduced to the cheif at the Kyle Racing shop this past weekend. As soon as the door opened up there was this familiar new 2008 GSXR but something was different... The exhaust! Look out for this bike because you don't want to play around with him. Modified ONLY with a full Nujima Racing exhaust (one of a handful set out to pasture for testing and feedback) this bad boy puts down 180HP at the rear wheel. The Nujima is just a beautiful titanium exhaust that comes from a racing R&D company in Japan and they mean business. The best part? That's the reason we were there, to pick it up and ride it home!

I'm going to have to watch what I do around this bike and be careful not to provoke him unless I'm far ahead of him exiting the turns. This bike is scary fast and hasn't even turned 1,000 miles yet. I fear that after some break in time that it will be even more powerful. NO FAIR!!

So to step my own game up on my bike I installed a full titanium Akrapovic racing exhaust (http://www.fourwheelforum.com/index.php?showtopic=212&st=0&#entry528) system (carbon fiber can) on my Aprilia Mille RSVR. Yeah I might be down a few ponies but I'll be taking my baby up to Kyle Racing up in Sand City, Monterey CA for a Power Commander and full dyno tune sometime soon. I'll be crossing my fingers for everything she can give me.

Here we go.. the proof in a corrected Dyno recording. OK so it's not 180HP but when the engine breaks in I bet it will be 180.

Second to the GSXR1000 is a modified, PC'd and tuned R1 and below that is a stock R1. I'll take the 179 thank you.
