CA95 with directionals?

At least I think it's a CA95! They look factory... might it be a C95?

Those look like the 70's style signals like those on my 1970 CB350 - possibly someone installed later? I thought the originals (at least the front) were rectangular?

No, they are not factory. Probably from a 70's CB or even another asian brand. The originals had retangle lenses where the "Honda" plate is on your rear fender trim. The wire hooks underneath the fender both right and left.

The front signals were retangle as well and mounted on the handlebar.

That's why I hang my retro's on the handlebar. Most of the modern bikes have front turn signals on the handlebars.

Further to what Chip has said about the turn signals (mucho correcto) the easy way to spot the difference is, on the CA there is an elongated hole in the centre of the crankcase, you can see it in the sellers 3rd picture, It's just behind the cylinders. The C95 dose not have this as it is only a 2 bearing crank. The other way to tell them apart is the carb, the CA has power jets that are visible on the right hand side of the carb.
The early CA has a rev counter gearbox which runs off the camshaft on the right side of the head, easy to spot.

Notice no hole in the top of the crankcase behind the block and see the turn signals as Chip said.

Look at the strange cam covers on this one, I have one of the chain side but have never seen the type fitted to the right side of this one.

Here is an example of the CA95 turn signals not usually found in the USA. These signals are for years 1964-1966 that have the long fender trim.

thats where Mad Skills came in, i sent him a set of rear braces and the Asian lenses. he then fabricated the housing to fit the lens and wired the light to also except a hook up for my buco bags. Oh i almost forgot to mention that he custom made his owen LED Bulbs. Then he polished the braces and front signals and i mean he POLISHED them!!!!

Hoodie Hoo i just removed and replaced my rear wheel assembly!!!

ok i removed the rear wheel assembly and replaced the rear fender trim with the polished ones that Mad Skills ( Chip ) did for me and the wire thats hanging out the side is for the buco bag lights more props for Mad Skills

i also replaced the rear tire with a W/W Firestone tire

now on to the LED flasher hook up and starter switch replacement

slow but sure and moving in the right direction
